DANIEL PRADO>
44 years old, has always been passionate about music.
Self-taught, at 17, he decided he would be a BLUESMAN. At 21, he formed one of the most prominent blues bands in the Alto Tietê region, Black Train. Between 2001 and 2003, Black Train accompanied important names in the national and international blues scene, such as Marcos Ottaviano, Big Joe Manfra, Kenny Brown, Jefferson Gonçalves, among others.
Daniel also performed alongside great blues names like Nuno Mindelis, Marcos Ottaviano, Flávio Guimarães, Sérgio Duarte, and Robson Fernandes on stages of important nightclubs such as Ton Ton Jazz, Mr. Blues, and Bourbon Street Music Club, as well as at jazz and blues festivals in Rio das Ostras, RJ.
Throughout his career as a GUITARIST, he was invited to participate in projects with other great musicians like Rafael Bueno in the MJ Experience and the original work of the band Bico do Corvo.
The band in which Daniel met Bianca in 2004 specialized in large-scale events and various styles. During this period, they opened shows for nationally recognized bands like Jota Quest and Kid Abelha.
Daniel taught guitar for 12 years and studied for a year with guitarist Michel Leme.
As a SINGER, he participated in recordings of English songs for textbooks for the language school CNA® (Instituto Cultural Norte Americano) and Editora Moderna/Richmond®, both with national distribution and linguistic technical direction by native speakers. He was also a guest singer at charity events with the Mogi das Cruzes Youth Orchestra and the Canarinhos do Itapety.
A LAW graduate since 2014, he preferred to give up his legal career to dedicate himself to his numerous artistic projects, with music being one of them.
He is also a renowned ILLUSIONIST in the national and international magic community. Awarded three times in congresses across Brazil, Daniel works on developing techniques and effects for magicians worldwide. He was the first Brazilian to have original techniques published on international sites such as dananddave.com.
Additionally, he is the only Brazilian featured on the site vanishingincmagic.com as a creator, alongside some of the greatest magicians in world history.
In March 2016, he was nominated for the international Allan Slaight Awards in the International Rising Star category and presented his lecture “The Illusion of Impossibility” in Los Angeles and San Diego (2016). In Brazil, Daniel has also presented his lecture in various places and was a speaker at the third InterPSI Journey at USP in 2018. Click here to learn more about his work as a magician.
